Blessing Sekeramavi started his first year at Varsity College studying Bcom Law Degree , Port Elizabeth in 2019 where he became a student leader.A year later he joined he joined Kaplan Blumberg Attorneys because of his academic success and impressive leadership. At Kaplan Blumberg Attorneys he has acquired multiple skills including but not limited to conveyancing, marketing and litigation skills .Blessing has an interest in property law and business to which he has ventured which he founded his own business in 2019 called ‘BS chickens’ which he currently runs in JBAY while completing his BCom law studies and working as a legal administrator for Kaplan Blumberg Attorneys.
We all know the quote that reads as follows, “ Dreams don’t work unless you do “ and that’s why we were so impressed by the young rugby player, Kian Jacobs. 1lifeprojects gave Kian the necessary boost to get into a rugby institution of his choice. We could not be any prouder of this young star.
Situated in the heart of Port ELizabeth, Aurora special care centre “ cares and improves the quality of life for children and adults with profound mental and physical disabilities.” This school started from humble beginnings in 1978 with just 6 children and now they have close to 100 employees and they nurture their children with the best care available. What a privilege in assisting them with the build of a centre.
Tharros is an child & Youth Care Centre situated in the small but community driven town, Hankey in the Eastern Cape.Their home nurtures babies and children under 12 years, who have experienced trauma, particularly that of neglect, abandonment or abuse. Tharros lives by their Vision to provide a happy, loving, secure and wholesome home and that perfectly aligns what lifeprojects bases each and every of their developments on. It is a great privilege to be aligned with this beautiful Care Centre.
In 2019, 1Life Projects constructed an additional classroom at the Khayalethu Youth Centre. This space is being used by the boys during the day as a communal space (also utilized during Covid-19 for when they are not at school that week) and used for homework in the evenings.
My dream is to be a Chartered Accountant in the next 6 years. At the moment, I'm doing a Higher Certificate in Accounting, and l am only left with one module. This certificate will give me access to be in the field as l pursue to do my Bachelor's degree next year. I'm grateful for all the support One Life Projects is giving me. Much appreciation to Mr Mornè without him l would be where I'm right now.
